Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has called from abroad and complained that loadshedding is happening.
Speaking at the meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee under the House of Representatives held at Singh Darbar on Wednesday, he mentioned that calls from abroad are being made to cause trouble. He mentioned that those who are spreading misinformation call even at 12 o'clock in the night and say that the lights have gone out, and when they inquired about it, they found that the lights had not gone out in those places in Nepal.
He has requested to stay based on reality instead of such misinformation. He also said that if it is blocked, information will be given along with the reason.
He said that it is not due to a decrease in production, but it is due to the import of electricity when the production is low, but it is being supplied according to the need.
He said, 'Calls come from abroad, I pick up the phone, they have come many times. We say where the light has gone. This is how confusion is being spread. Calling from the same number again and again, calling at 12 o'clock at night, telling us where the line went. But when you understand there, there is light everywhere. This kind of propaganda is done. I request you not to engage in such misinformation and stay in reality. If it is blocked, we have given the reason. There is no load shedding due to a reduction in production, but we have provided the necessary electricity even though it has been imported at a time of low production.
He also said that the prosperity of Nepal is possible through energy, tourism and agriculture.
