Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the spirit of revolution among the people is still the same. Addressing a meeting held at Chedagad Municipality-12 Manghat on Monday, President Dahal said that the speed of the revolution 27 years ago and the current speed are similar.
Dahal, who is also a former Prime Minister, praised Jajarkot's contribution in the People's War. He said that Jajarkot, which is the central base area of the People's War, is a part of today's change. He said that there is an attempt to solve the work of the peace process that has been stalled for 10 years through the bill.
President Dahal says that only the people will strengthen the Maoists and all the people will be strong. "We are trying to correct the mistakes we have made," he said. He said that the objective of Madhyapahari Lokmarg Abhiyan is to connect with the people.
Dahal is committed to keep the issues raised by the people of Jajarkot from the House to the government. He also assured that efforts will be made to remove the obstruction of Mantabhir on the Madhyapahari highway. He said that he would take initiatives for the construction of the Jajarkot-Jumla road and the construction of the Nalgad hydropower project.
