Member of the House of Representatives Chhiring Damdul Lama has demanded immediate rescue of the residents of Namkha Rural Municipality-6 Tilgaon in Humla.

Speaking during the emergency meeting of the House of Representatives today, Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) MP Lama said that the local residents are at risk due to the landslides that erupted from Himtal and drew the attention of the government for rescue. He informed the House that 32 people from eighteen families are currently living in the Sahara of Tripal in nearby Bari.

18 families have been put at risk by the landslide that occurred on May 1 and 2 in Tilgaon. These families were affected by the landslide that occurred at midnight on May 1. MP Lama has asked the government to pay attention to the settlements near the Himalayas as they are at risk of divine disaster.
