On the last day of Sagarmatha Samvad 2025, 24 foreign guests took a mountain flight in the morning.
About 24 foreign guests and some indigenous people who came to Nepal for the Everest Dialogue under the leadership of Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri with the aim of showing the mountain, took a mountain flight.
The flight was organized by the government of Nepal. Foreign guests have observed the mountains including Everest. Forest Minister Shahi said that the effect of climate change has been seen in the mountains where Setamme is located.
'According to the decision to directly monitor the mountains of Nepal, we took the guests on a mountain flight today,' he said, 'where we saw only black mountains and snow on some mountains.' He says that seeing the black mountains means that it has been experienced as a result of climate change. He said that due to this climate change, the global temperature is increasing and the white mountains are turning black.
'A foreign guest saw these things today,' he said, 'We raised this matter through dialogue.' The first edition of Everest, which started on Friday Dialogue will be concluded on Sunday. During the three-day dialogue, Nepal is raising debates on climate change, mountains and human future.
