I have not experienced the government running as expected: Congress MP Gautam

Congress MP Sanjay Gautam has said that the government is not functioning as expected. He says that the government formed by the two largest parties in the parliament, Congress and UML, has not been able to overcome the disappointment of the people.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, he said that the government and parliamentarians should be aware of the frustration seen in the people. 'Congress and UML have formed the government. It has not been experienced that the government has run as expected,' he said, 'People's problems do not come to Parliament as they should. It seems that the people's hope and trust in the judiciary has not been born.'

Gautam said that the problem arose because the state agencies could not work properly. He said, 'We have not been able to create hope and trust in the people. We have not been able to create new ideas and possibilities.' MP Gautam said that the state of the country is not right. He said that people's disappointment should be addressed.

Similarly, MP Gautam has proposed that Banke and Bardia districts should be connected with Karnali province. He said that for the development of remote districts of Karnali, these two districts should be brought to Karnali province. Currently these two districts are in Lumbini province.
