Painter Chetan Angthupo sometimes goes into the forest of Elam to write stories. And they set up a theater in the forest and show it to the audience. Sometimes they make a stage in the heart of the farm and celebrate a theater festival.

Sometimes the village and sometimes the city.

It is the nature of Chulachuli theater to express stories of original flavor in a different style. In the story of Chulachuli, the sighs of the characters who have become history are heard . Even their cry or rebellious voice .

As if those sighs are not over yet .  Those voices are still not extinguished . The issues of the story told by connecting the history to the present are equally meaningful even now .

because they are not finished yet . Therefore, the harsh character of the state continues to emerge in these plays. 

This time, Chetan is stuck in Kathmandu to tell the story. There is a character who has become a myth in the East - Darasingh . 

which the panchayat government made a mess . Karna Bahadur Kerung Limbu, who had a strong life in the thirties, and was in search of panchayat power, was attacked and killed by an unknown group in the middle of December 2037.

Chetan is stuck in Kathmandu this year to tell the story of Karna Bahadur. Darasingh is currently living in Manchanarat Natak at Mandala Theater in Thapagaon. Chetan's direction in the story  And written by Suman Lingden. Rupesh Lama has helped Chetan in the direction. 

Earlier, Chetan had brought the play 'Zhoda' to Kathmandu from the east. "Jhoda" is the story of the atrocities and sacrifices that the families of ex-soldiers had to endure from the then panchayat government and settled in the Terai after 2000 years.  This was based on author Ganesh Rasik's novel 'Akashgangako Otamuni'. How many characters in 'Jhoda' have become familyless due to state violence . They lost theirs .

At the end they blew the whistle of rebellion . The interesting thing is that where the story of 'Zhoda' ends, the story of 'Darasingh' begins. "I tried to show the time after 28 years through Darasingh," says Chetan.

Darasing is a lost character in Baa . Let's say that the child growing up in the 'Zhoda' has grown up. There was a wave of rebellion in the eyes of that child who was watching his mother's struggle closely. He became Karna Bahadur .

Dadagiri style stood up against state oppression . As the story is similar to 'Zhoda', the suffering of the characters is the same . There is a fascination with them. It has been proposed to break their own. Karna Bahadur does not fall into any infatuation or greed. His strong arm is ready to fight the people of the kingdom. The fact that he lost his father in the struggle of Jhoda is causing him trouble.

The administration named him Darasingh based on his nature. "He looked violent and like a terrorist." All his good works are cut off. When his group came to the fair, everyone started to get excited. That thing was the character created by the Panchayat system. Which has become a hoguji in the psychology of the society,' says Chetan, 'as he was established in a negative character . It was an injustice for the community and for the individual.'

Has the portrayal of Darasingh come strongly in the play? Chetan says that it is a challenging task in the story scene heard. As interesting and unique as Darasingh sounds, it is not as interesting and unique as it looks.

Darasingh's dhangdhangi is less common in visuals than in audio stories. Darasingh's presence is not found in the play as described. But Darasingh's story is honestly told. Darasingh is not only made a hero . He is made a man with weaknesses . Addictions have plagued him . Despite having a loving wife, he has polygamy. He has given up on practical matters. Darasingh is a new face on the stage . His acting is average . However, he has shown potential in acting career. Beautiful story  Sometimes the story feels unnecessarily stretched .

Even if there are some scenes, the meaning of the story will not be affected . Aspects like paddy dancing and singing Khayali were once a new taste for Nepali theatre. Now those scenes are not new for the audience. The sets on the

stage evoke the slums of slums. Zhoda can also bring the survivor back to the past . The lemon culture has come in a beautiful way in the story. Music enhances the charm of the story . The music that plays according to the mood of the

events and the characters binds the audience . The presence of characters throughout the story is equally relevant. In the play, various props have also been presented in an ironic manner. In

drama, Chetan seems adept at choosing story . And, also wool in his own style . As much as the story needs to be told, Natankyai if his plays are beautiful . Anjana Rai, Pravin Magar, Lahna Rai, Mankumar Yonghang, Dawa Sherpa and others are acting in the play which will be staged till June 11.

Chetan used to tell the story of the past in the past . This time, he stopped in Kathmandu with "Darasingh" immediately after leaving. Why

'The psychology of our society centered on Kathmandu.  I wanted to come here and work to find that question,' says Chetan .

He has started to realize now, ``Kathmandu doesn't listen to this story . Who will listen to our story?' because the presence of the audience outside the East is thin .
