Nepali Congress senior leader Shekhar Koirala has said that the government should provide free treatment to the citizens injured in the disaster.
He has also urged people to be vigilant as the risk of disaster increases across the country as the rainy season begins.
Expressing grief over the loss of property in various districts due to Friday's storm, leader Koirala said that all structures of the state should be active in order to avoid calamities.
'I am saddened by the loss of property caused by yesterday's storm. Tributes to the deceased, condolences to the family. Get free treatment for the injured. I urge everyone to be more alert during this disaster,' Koirala said on Saturday through social media, 'all structures of the state should be activated to protect the lives of the citizens affected by the disaster.'
