The Federal Civil Service Bill has been passed by the State Order and Good Governance Committee under the House of Representatives. Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada informed that the Friday meeting of the committee decided to pass the bill.
The controversial issues in the bill were the cooling period and the method to be implemented when the retirement age was raised from 58 to 60.
A cooling period of 2 years has been implemented in these matters and 1-1 year when the retirement age is raised from 58 to 60 . Chairman Khatiwada informed that the report of the bill is yet to be finalised.
It is said that an internal meeting will be held to include the issues of agreement reached at the last moment in the report. An 11-member sub-committee was formed under the coordination of MP Dilendra Prasad Badu to discuss the controversial issues of the bill.
The sub-committee held a secret meeting and held a quarterly discussion. After the report of the sub-committee was submitted to the committee, only the controversial issues of the bill were discussed.
