The bill to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the Federal Civil Service has been unanimously passed by the parliamentary committee.

The bill was passed by the State Order and Good Governance Committee meeting of the House of Representatives, which was held to discuss the final draft report of the Bill, 2080 on the formation, operation and conditions of service of the Federal Civil Service at Singh Darbar on Friday. Chairman of the

committee, Ramhari Khatiwada, informed that the bill was unanimously passed with amendments and said that after a long time, the important bill was successfully passed. He thanked everyone who helped pass the bill.

He said, 'The final draft report of the committee regarding the Bill, 2080, which was made to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the federal civil service, has been passed unanimously with amendments. Thank you very much everyone. This was a very important bill. We have succeeded in passing it after a long time.' In the

bill, the cooling period has been kept for two years, while the retirement age of civil servants has been increased from 58 years to 60 years. The meeting of the committee is adjourned until further notice.
