Dispute again between Resham and Ranjita on the selection of ministers

There has been a dispute between the guardian of Civil Liberation Party, Resham Chaudhary, and the president, Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhary, regarding the issue of ministerial recommendation in the Far West Province government.

Speaker Ranjita sent a separate letter on Tuesday and directed Ghanshyam Chaudhary, the leader of Sudurpaschim Parliamentary Party, and recommended Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah to appoint MP Kailash Chaudhary as a minister. But the protector Resham blocked the implementation of Ranjita's instructions through the parliamentary party. This has brought the power struggle between Resham and Ranjita, who are also a couple, to the surface again.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment was under the Civil Immunity section. Industry Minister Laxman Kishore Choudhary resigned on March 16 after being caught in the audio scandal of financial transactions. Since then, Civil Immunity has not been able to send a new minister to the ministry. After about a month and a half, the reference to send a new minister started, but there was a dispute between the top leadership of the party.

There are seven MPs in the Sudurpaschim State Assembly and the parliamentary party of Unmukti has a majority of silk pro-resham MPs. Five MPs are on Resham's side and only one MP Kailash is on Ranjita's side. Another MP, Tika Thapa, has not revealed her affiliation.

After the meeting of the parliamentary party, the letter recommending silk supporter Rameshwar Choudhary for the minister has been published. But the leader of the parliamentary party, Ghanshyam Choudhary, said that the discussion is continuing. According to MPs, Resham was adamant about sending ministers to Ghanshyam or Rameshwar. Since Ghanshyam is the leader of the party and also the chairman of the finance committee, Unmukti MP is in favor of recommending Rameshwar as the minister.

MP Kailash said that his name was recommended as per the written decision to give the responsibility of ministerial selection to Speaker Ranjita in a meeting held in Baisakh in Dhangadhi with the chairman, party protector Resham along with federal MPs and state MPs.

'Now, what should we do if we don't follow the president's instructions?' MP Kailash also claims that President Ranjita has recommended Rajkumar Chaudhary, a silk supporter, in Lumbini province and himself as a minister in the Far West. Last year, due to a similar clash between the Chaudhary couple, the post of Chief Minister, who came to Civil Immunity, was also lost.
