Basnet, the head of the city of Barhavise, sent a letter against the law to the authority employees asking them to return their work

Balkrishna Basnet, head of Bahrvise Municipality, has sent a letter to an employee working in the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Tangal, to return him to work against the law. City chief Basnet has sent a letter to the Authority on Thursday demanding the immediate return of Ambika Dahal Ojha, a fifth level employee working in the Authority.

When sending a letter like this for employee transfer, promotion or return, the letter should be exchanged from the staff level of the concerned office, the city chief Basnet directly sent a letter signed by himself and asked to return the job.

Mayor Basnet has informed about this matter to the Abuse of Power Investigation Commission Tangal, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the financial administration branch of the municipality. He has asked Nasu Dahal, who has been asked to return to work, to return immediately, saying that she is under the scope of the law that she cannot stay in work for more than three months in a year.

"This letter has been found to be outside the jurisdiction of Mayor Basnet," the authority source said.

Congress MP Mohan Basnet was filed a case by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on charges of irregularity in the purchase of Terramax equipment. It has been revealed that Mayor Basnet sent the letter shortly after the case was filed. Mohan Basnet is a member of the House of Representatives elected from Sindhupalchok Constituency No. 2. With the filing of the case, he has been suspended from the post of MP.
