Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached Dadeldhura. Dahal reached Dadeldhura to inaugurate the party's 'Maoist with Janata: Madhyapahari Lokmarg (Pushpalal Marg) Public Awakening Campaign'. He is scheduled to inaugurate the campaign which will start from Patan in Baitadi on Friday.

Dahal, who reached Dadeldhura on Thursday evening, placed garlands on the funeral pyre of martyr Bhimdutta Pant. Dadeldhura district working committee coordinator Umesh Bhatt said that he will stay at Dadeldhura headquarters at night and participate in Patan program tomorrow morning.

Leaders Narayankaji Shrestha, Agniprasad Sapkota, Janardan Sharma, Famfa Bhusal, Girirajmani Pokhrel, Khagraj Bhatt and other leaders and activists are participating along with Dahal.

On Friday morning, Dahal will participate in the public dialogue program in Doti after organizing a public meeting in Patan and in the afternoon in Dadeldhura.

The central committee meeting of the Maoists held on 23rd January decided to conduct the 'Maoist with Janata' awakening campaign on the East-West Hulaki route and the Madhyapahari route. Earlier, the first phase of campaign focused on Terai-Madhes was completed on Baisakh 17.

The second phase of the awakening campaign will start from Patan in Baitadi and will end in Solukhumbu in the east, according to the Maoists. In the campaign, there will be meetings with the families of the martyrs and the missing, public dialogue, meeting and interaction with the people, public meetings and other programs.
