Santosh Kumar Yadav, an engineer working in the Office of Intensive Urban and Building Construction Project, Okhaldhunga, has been arrested with a bribe of Rs 570,000.
Engineer Yadav was taken into custody from Bhaktapur Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1 Lokanthali on Thursday by the team of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Tangal, in the case of taking bribe/receipt for the purpose of paying the running bill of the road under construction in Khotang.
Authority spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Paudel said that further investigation is being conducted on him.
