Prime Minister and CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli has said that CPN-UML will not use non-resident Nepalese organizations for party interests.
He said this while addressing the World Conference of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) held in Kathmandu on Wednesday. He has expressed the commitment that UML will use the non-resident Nepalese organization only for the benefit of the diaspora and the country.
He has also asked non-resident Nepalese organizations to operate legally. Claiming that it would be arbitrarily to break the law as it is the current world law, he called to protect the NRNA from becoming a popular organization of political parties.
Prime Minister Oli said, 'You should proceed in a methodical manner. This is the world of method. It is the age of law. It is arbitrary to break the law and move forward in this era, it should not be done. The government will always support the legal activities. CPN-UML, of which he himself is the president, will also support the legal matter of that party. UML will not use non-resident Nepalese organization for its own party interests. It will only be used for the benefit of the diaspora and the country.'
Prime Minister Oli emphasized that non-resident Nepali organizations should be protected from being used for anyone's interests and dedicated to the interests of the country. He has also made it clear that the government will continue to support the work done according to the law.
