Supreme Court's order to show cause and present the prisoner in the writ filed on behalf of Mishra

The Supreme Court has issued an order to show cause and present the prisoner in the petition filed on behalf of Rabindra Mishra, Senior Vice President of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party. Supreme Court Judge Sunil Kumar Pokharel's bench has ordered to show cause for Mishra's arrest and to produce the prisoner.

The police arrested Mishra and others on the charge of playing a role in the violent demonstration held by the royalists in Tinkune on March 15. He was arrested on the same day and the district court in Kathmandu extended the deadline and the police are investigating. 

Mishra's wife, Sarika Karki, filed a petition in the Supreme Court for the arrest warrant when the police was investigating after extending the deadline from the court. While hearing the same petition, the bench of Judge Pokharel issued an order to present the prisoner with show cause .

In the petition filed by Karki, Ministry of Home Affairs, Inspector General of Police, Nepal Police Headquarters Naxal, Inspector General of Armed Police, Armed Police Force Headquarters Halchok, Chief of Kathmandu District Police Complex Bhadrakali, Kathmandu District Police Complex Bhadrakali Kathmandu, Kamadoun District Court, Attorney General, Attorney General's Office, Chief of District Public Prosecutor's Office, Kathmandu and District Public Prosecutor's Office Kathmandu have been made opponents. 

Mishra is being investigated by the police for treason, organized crime, criminal nuisance. Durga Prasai, who led the movement, is also in prison.

Recently on Tuesday, the Kathmandu District Court has detained Mishra for five days and allowed the police to investigate. Mishra is being investigated for committing a crime of criminal nuisance recently.
