Shiv Sena Nepal president Anil Basnet has been arrested. Spokesman of District Police Complex Kathmandu, SP Appelraj Bohra informed that he was arrested during the investigation of Tinkune incident on March 15th.

An arrest warrant was issued against him for the investigation of the Three Kune incident. He was absconding. He was arrested from Sukedhara area today, said SP Bohra. Basnet will be taken to court shortly for extension.

Under the leadership of businessman Durga Prasain, the Joint People's Movement Committee was formed on March 4th under the leadership of former president of Rashtriya Panchayat Navraj Subedi for the restoration of the royal institution. Subedi also announced Prasai as the commander of the Jan Andolan Committee.
