Congress MP and former finance minister Prakasharan Mahat has said that the problem of the country's economy is budget allocation and implementation.

Mahat's reaction came after Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel presented the principles and priorities of the government's budget for the coming fiscal year 2082/83 in the House of Representatives meeting.

Mahat also said that planning should be prioritized in the upcoming budget. The Finance Minister has said that we will allocate the budget by focusing only on the studied projects. They also have to do serious homework to create a situation where limited resources and means are not misused and how to implement them effectively and ensure returns.
