Ten people, including five foreigners, have successfully climbed the Kanchenjunga Himal. Mingma Sherpa, the manager of Seven Summit Treks informed that those who left from their company were returning after climbing the mountain on Saturday afternoon. Kanchenjunga is the second highest mountain in Nepal and the third highest mountain in the world with a height of 8,586 meters.
British, Iranian, Kosovo citizens and Nepalese Sherpas are among the climbers. He informed that Lakpa Temba Sherpa was their main guide.
This year, the number of foreigners climbing this mountain, including the joint military of Nepal and India, is significant. According to Mingma David Sherpa, director of Elite Expeditions Kathmandu, 63 other climbers and their guides are in the Kanchenjunga region for climbing the mountain.
