Oli in Parliament: Aggressive towards monarchists, soft towards opposition

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has presented himself aggressively against the monarchy in the Parliament. Urging them to carry out their activities within the scope of the constitution and laws, he also warned that action will be taken if they do unconstitutional activities.

Answering the questions raised by MPs on the policies and programs of the government, he asserted that the dream of bringing monarchy will never be fulfilled. "The friends who used to cry for the laws of the constitution when there was a dictatorial system, when there was a despotic system, and screamed until the microphone broke, today they announce the overthrow of democracy within the democratic system and they promise to bring the country into regression. What have you done?' He said, 'Not this time on May 15th, wait for any future May 15th, none of your dreams will come true.' This retrograde dream will not work . I would like to ask you not to insist on this

Prime Minister Oli says that although everyone is exempted from doing peaceful activities, nobody is exempted from violating the constitution and laws. "The country runs according to the treaty and according to the law". All should be ready to run according to the constitution and laws. If it doesn't work, the constitution and the law will deal with it themselves,' he said, 'It would be better if you learn about democracy, the constitution, the system, and the peaceful movement.' There is no point in looking in the mirror and scolding others and banging your head against the ceiling by advocating regression. This is just a request within the democratic system. Let us all be responsible,'' he said, 'putting the mirror in front of us, looking at it and scolding others for being like this and like that.' I don't want to go on answering the question . Doesn't seem necessary . We should not lower the debate of the Parliament to the level of social media . It is not appropriate to use the lawn as a place to express frustration and anger.'

Prime Minister Oli, in a written speech, commented that he started playing royalist in the frustration caused by political instability. But he denied that frustration is increasing because of the government.

"Currently, by 'cashing' the frustration created due to political instability, our sacrifices and centuries-long struggle have not only awakened the feudal system that was thrown into the fabric of history, but also created illusions such as setting the date to sit on the throne and swindling Sripech, violent and chaotic activities against the constitution and system have started," he also narrated the gist of the policy and program. There is a commitment to strengthen the system. It has been expressed determination to counter any reactionary-resurrectionist anarchist activities of any nature against it.'

Prime Minister Oli mentioned that this honorable house will be united in the presented policy of not letting the sacrifices of the people go to waste, and to protect and promote the achieved achievements.
