In front of the bureaucracy, the parliamentarians will be useless: Tamang

RPP Member of Parliament Wise Tamang has said that the employees were affected during the discussion on the Bill, 2080, which was made to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the federal civil service. Tamang expressed his displeasure saying that the bureaucracy has dominated the parliamentarians in making laws.

The final draft report of the 'Bill, 2080 to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the Federal Civil Service' is being discussed in the Sunday meeting of the Public Order and Good Governance Committee. MP Tamang said that the bureaucracy is dominant in matters such as keeping trade unions, cooling period and raising the retirement age from 58 to 60 years.

MP Tamang has informed the committee chairman Ramhari Khatiwada that he has a different opinion regarding the trade union.

'Employees should not have a trade union . If it has to be kept, it has been said whether it will be kept officially until Subba . The parliamentarian who registered the amendment also said that it should not be kept. However, we did not listen to MPs, experts and public servants who proposed the amendment,' Tamang said. Live at the level of policy making and live in the trade union? In front of the personnel system, the MP will not be worth anything . It's not the head wagging the tail, it's the tail wagging the head.'

Tamang said that people who are paid from the national treasury should not open a trade union affiliated to a political party. "One who eats salary on behalf of the nation cannot form a union". I will put a note of disapproval on it,' he said .
