National Independent Party MP Vindwasini Kansakar has requested the government to bring the Non-Governmental Bill on burning for discussion.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Wednesday, MP Kansakar objected to the fact that the non-governmental bill on burning which was registered a long time ago has not been discussed yet. She complained that the bill has not yet been discussed even though it has been said to expand burn treatment in all seven provinces in the policy and program of the next financial year.

She has requested the government to immediately present the bill in the House to proceed with the discussion and not to confuse the treatment of burn victims in the future.

She said, 'In the policy and program of 2082/083, it is said to expand burn treatment in all seven provinces. However, the Non-Governmental Bill on Burns, which we registered a long time ago, has not yet been brought up for discussion. I would like to request the Minister of Health and the Government through this House - to bring the bill to the discussion immediately according to the payment and assurance.'

Non-governmental bill on control and punishment of human body burning was registered in the House of Representatives in August of last year.
