Prakash Jwala, MP of CPN (Unified Samajwadi Party) said that the situation seen at the gate of Singha Darbar is a living example of bad governance.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Wednesday, MP Jwala stated that there is widespread irregularity, lawlessness and misrule in the country, and the crowd and queue of people seen at the gate of the Singha Darbar is proof of such a situation.
He has objected to the fact that the ministries are piled up inside the Singha Darbar and surrounded by walls and iron gates, making it look like a prison and denying people entry. He demanded that the citizens have to sweat in the hot sun for a long time to get the gate pass and it should be stopped.
MP Jwala has questioned the validity of the claim that the government is trying to maintain transparency by not disclosing the asset details of the prime minister and ministers, stating that there is increasing delay and open bribery in government offices. In addition, they have demanded that the property details of the Prime Minister and ministers should be made public immediately.
He said that it is unacceptable that ministers, parliamentarians and employees can enter the south gate of Singha Darbar easily, but the people have to stand in the sun and wait for the pass and the government should pay attention to that.
