The 10th Congress of UML National Youth Union of Nepal will be held in Pokhara in the second week of May.
The association informed through a press conference on Tuesday that the upcoming convention will be held at Pokhara Hall from 9th to 11th June. Chairman Kshitij Thebe informed that about 2 thousand representatives from all over the country will participate in the convention.
A 151-member committee including the president, 2 vice presidents, general secretary, deputy secretary general and 4 secretaries will be elected from the convention. Thebe, the current president, has made internal preparations not to repeat himself as president and to be active in party politics . Vice President Maharaj Gurung, another Vice President Krishnahari KC who is also the spokesperson, and General Secretary Suman Puri are the main contenders for the future president.
Party President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing to inaugurate the Congress.
