Nepali Congress MP Sita Mizar has raised questions about the delay in the construction of the federal parliament building inside the Singh Darbar, saying that it has not been completed even though the deadline has been extended four times.
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, MP Mizar said that only 86 percent of the construction of the Parliament building inside Singh Darbar was extended four times.
'Construction of the federal parliament building project, which was started on October 16, 2079, within the hands of Sinh Durbar, has achieved only 86 percent material progress, even though the deadline has been extended for the fourth time,' MP Mizar said, 'When the high-ranking officials are repeatedly monitoring and inspecting, if this is the case with the project being built in a place that is visible to everyone, then what will be the condition of the project being conducted in other parts of the country? It can be easily guessed.'
She said that the delay in the construction of development has increased the frustration of the citizens towards the government.
