Chairman Dahal's comment: I see that the balloon of two-thirds' ego has burst

Chairman of the main opposition party Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal commented that the balloon of arrogance of the two-thirds majority government has now burst.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Monday to discuss the policies and programs of the government for the coming financial year, Chairman Dahal criticized the government's incompetence and arrogance saying that the government has not been able to appoint a governor in Nepal Rastra Bank for months.

He mentioned that ten months after the formation of the current government, there is no sign of reform, and he claimed that this government was not formed for reform but to fulfill the interests of a certain class. According to him, it is a serious allegation in itself that the members of the government machinery themselves have reached the Prime Minister's bedroom with middlemen, which confirms the government's bias towards interest groups.

He said, 'The government has not improved in these ten months, nor does it want to improve. Because this government was not formed for reform. It was created to serve the interests of a certain class. At that time, it was commented that I had lost my power by saying such things. But now it has become your commentary. Everything has become clear after the members of the government administration themselves expressed that the middlemen will reach the Prime Minister's bedroom. Even after months, the governor has not been appointed. When I look, I see that the balloon of two-thirds of pride has burst.'

Chairman Dahal complained that the appointments and decisions were dominated by selfish groups and that the people could not get public services easily. He mentioned that there is extreme politicization in the public institutions and even after 10 months of the formation of the government, there is no progress in the implementation of the 7-point agreement made before the people.
