Vikal Poudel, the then executive director of Surakshan Printing Center, has been found guilty of corruption while purchasing equipment. The bench of special court chairperson Teknarayan Kunwar, members Tejnarayan Singh Rai and Ram Bahadur Thapa convicted Paudel and determined the sentence on Sunday.

The court has sentenced Paudel to 1 year and 6 months imprisonment and a fine of Rs. Since Paudel is in the role of the executive director of the center, he has been sentenced to another 6 months in prison. 

In the case of the other defendants of the same case, Max International Pvt. Ltd. and CEO Akbar Hussain, it has been decided to pay a fine of Rs. Akbar Hussain has also been sentenced to 1 year and 6 months imprisonment.

Wikal, Max International Pvt. Ltd., Akbar has also decided to pay 54 lakh 34 thousand 103 rupees as compensation fee to the victim relief fund.
