Action against four players in Dhankuta for indiscipline activities

District Volleyball Association Dhankuta has taken action against four players of the district for indiscipline activities.The union issued a statement on Sunday and gave this information.

It is mentioned that action was taken for chanting slogans and activities against sports discipline during the volleyball festival organized by the volleyball association and during the municipal level women's volleyball and ward level men's volleyball competitions.

Santhosh Niraula, Nareshjung Thapa, Sujan Tamang and Sujan Paudel (team coach) are among the players who have been punished. Gaurav Karki, president of the association, said that the Dhankuta District Volleyball Association has taken action against them for two years for entering the playing field and shouting slogans and trying to stop the game. According to Karki, it has been decided to ban those who have been prosecuted from participating in the President's Running Shield at the district, municipality, ward and school levels officially held in Dhankuta. The decision was taken at the meeting held on Sunday. 

The association has given notice to the District Sports Development Committee and the Koshi Pradesh Volleyball Association and has taken action.
