UML Senior Vice President Ishwar Pokharel has said that he will not accept unelected power and dynasty tradition. Addressing the opening session of UML's eighth district convention in Janakpurdham on Saturday, he said that UML will not accept dynasty tradition and unelected power under any name.

"CPN-UML will fight against the arrangement of Mr. 5 and the grandson of Mr. 5, even if alone," he said, "and will defeat him."

Mentioning that there is a relationship of cooperation and competition with the Congress, he mentioned that there is a similar relationship of cooperation at the time of promulgating the constitution and even now. 650 representatives have been selected in the convention that will last until May 22. Who will select a new working committee of 135 members including five key officials. Yadav left the Congress and joined the UML in the last election. He was the Congress Vice President at that time.
