General Secretary of Maoist Center Dev Gurung has said that the journey of socialist revolution must be completed. He said that the current society should complete the journey of a socialist society, a socialist system, a modern and scientific type of socialist revolution.

Addressing the third municipal conference and convention of Malika Rural Municipality of Gulmi district, the Maoist center, he said that economic and social transformation is necessary in the country now. "Agriculture should be self-sufficient, the youth need a livelihood in the country," he said, "the journey of socialist revolution is essential." He said that various movements and changes have led to the current situation, but the work load has not yet been completed, so we should be more empowered and embark on the journey of socialism.
