New generation should be given proper education to face global challenges: Leader Mahar

Nainsingh Mahar, the central member of the Congress and the head of the education department, has demanded that education related to climate change should be included in the curriculum to enable the new generation to face the global challenges of climate change.

He recently said that the problems of biological diversity, climate change and pollution have emerged as global challenges and the young people should be able to face them and move forward.

The world is taking these three issues as a major crisis. If we do not pay attention to the balance of these three pillars, tomorrow the world may have to face a great crisis," Mahar said in a discussion on the topic of "Youth Concerns in Youth Vision 2035" organized by the National Youth Council.

He said that due to population growth and industrial development, the effects of climate change are appearing, and all areas including land, air, and water are being polluted. Not only Nepal, the world is in crisis. In order to face such challenges and move forward, it should be based on the same while educating the youth.

He said that the Youth Vision 2035, which is going to be built by Nepal, should draw a clear blueprint to deal with the natural crisis.
