Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri has said that scientific research is necessary to solve environmental problems. Minister Shahi made this statement at the 'World Plant Humanities Conference' held in Kathmandu on Friday.

'We have to invest in research . Which will improve our understanding,' he said, 'and will help to prepare the foundation for the construction of implementable policies in favor of environmental protection.'

In the conference organized by Medhavi College, Minister Shahi said that plants have profound importance in human existence and these plants are the backbone of life. In our daily life we ​​often forget the importance of plants.'

Since climate change affects plants more than humans, he says that scientists have put forward natural environmental solutions, the ability to fight climate change based on nature, and solutions to achieve sustainable goals.
