The Second National Congress of the Unified Socialist Nepal Tribal Tribes Federation (Samajwadi) will be held in Kathmandu from Saturday.
In a press conference in Kathmandu on Thursday, the federation said that the preparations for the congress to be held on May 20 and 21 have been completed. President Bir Bahadur Budhathoki Magar informed that more than 600 representatives and observers from 35 ethnic component associations, 7 state federations and 70 district federations will participate in the convention. According to him, the convention will be inaugurated by Madhav Kumar Nepal, president of the United Socialist Party and former prime minister. General Secretary of the Federation Chandra Tamang said that the new working committee will be selected from the
convention. He said that various proposals as well as political and organizational reports will be passed through the convention.
