'Pistol' fired by Bobby Singh Yadav recovered from Sarlahi

The central leader of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Dr. Sarlahi police have seized the 'pestel' that Bobby Singh Yadav had fired while dancing at a function. District Police Office Saptari is taking a statement from leader Yadav on this matter.

Leader Yadav said that she did not carry a gun and that she had a toy called 'Ranger Toy' which looked like a gun. She has written on social media, "In the marriage ceremony of my maternal uncle's daughter (sister) in the border town of Sitamarhi, India, I sincerely request everyone here not to exaggerate the fire that I made with a toy called 'Ranger Toy' when I accepted the request of my siblings and danced in the courtyard of a relative's private residence according to local custom."

She said that the video taken while having fun with family members was spread through social media without reference and permission.

SP Dhakendra Khatiwada of Saptari said that the investigation has been started regarding the viral video on social media. A device that looks like a pistol has been recovered from Sarlahi. We send the methodology laboratory for testing,' said SP Khatiwada. According to him, more investigation about this incident will be done by Sarlahi.

DSP Saroj Rai of District Police Office Sarlahi said that the 'pistol' seen in the video was seized from a house located in Malangwa Municipality-2 a while ago and work is being done to collect the bond. He said, 'It has been reported that the pistol was fired at Komal Supriya's turmeric program on the 11th. We will send this pistol to the forensic laboratory for further examination.'
