Bharatiya Janata Party's foreign affairs chief Vijay Chathaiwale, who is visiting Nepal, met with two former prime ministers and other leaders on Thursday. India has taken various tough diplomatic steps against Pakistan. It has increased the tension between the two countries. As the tension between India and Pakistan increases, Chathaiwale has tried to convey a message to Nepal and its leaders to remain on India's side against terrorism.

After leaving Kathmandu on Wednesday, he accelerated the political meeting. He met Congress Party Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, leader Shekhar Koirala, Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar and Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba. Chathaiwale, who is visiting Nepal for three days, is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Apart from that, he is scheduled to meet with other major leaders of the ruling coalition, leaders of opposition parties and leaders of the Madhesi Morcha. According to

sources, the purpose of the visit is to inform the political leadership of Nepal about the recent tension between India and Pakistan and to seek support in the fight against terrorism.
