Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has emphasized on the need to prepare base from the local level to strengthen the national economy.
Talking to the mediapersons today at Sobhtal complex, a tourist spot in Belauri municipality, he suggested to emphasize on agriculture, forestry, health, education, employment, industry etc. at the local level to strengthen the economy.
He said, 'It will help the economy if we can move forward by establishing an industry based on agriculture. As the current era is the era of information technology, we should move forward by assimilating the IT sector.'
Discussing that the construction of the Madhyapahari public road, which was started after the coming of the Republic, has reached its final stage, he said that the construction of the postal highway is also progressing.
'It is not correct to say that nothing happened after the republic,' he said.
