Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey has said that the bill has been introduced to strengthen the legal system by maintaining good governance in the civil aviation sector of the country.

Answering questions raised during the theoretical discussion of the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Bill, 2081 in the House of Representatives on Monday, Minister Pandey said that the bill was introduced with the aim of strengthening the governance of the air sector and managing skilled manpower in this sector.

Tourism Minister Pandey has expressed his belief that the bill will play a role in making Nepal's tourism sector viable and making Nepali airspace dynamic. He said, 'Bringing a bill to make two agencies perform separate roles means strengthening the system, promoting good governance and managing skilled manpower. Through this, efficiency and expertise will be enhanced in their own way.'

Minister Pandey said that there is a need to make Nepal's international airport and domestic airport operational and to operate the Nepalese sky dynamically and policies and laws should be made for appropriate purposes, so the bill has been advanced for an effective and implementation-oriented structure . He clarified that arrangements will be made in the legislation so that the current service facilities of the employees will not decrease with the presented bill.

'Amendment work has started since yesterday and there will be many proposals for amendments within 72 hours from today,' he said, 'the ministry or the government is ready to have a meaningful dialogue on the amendments without any kind of inertia . Let's move forward with firm determination in the direction of enriching the bill.' He said that discussions will be held with all the stakeholders in the direction of achieving positive achievements in the

bill. Minister Pandey also said that the ministry will work firmly in controlling corruption.
