Do not deal with dissatisfaction: Mahamantri Thapa

Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that there should be no business of dissatisfaction. Addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday, he warned not to trade in dissatisfaction and not to turn dissatisfaction into provocation.

He said that although there is satisfaction among the common citizens regarding political achievements, there is now great restlessness and dissatisfaction.

Thapa said that the main reason for dissatisfaction and restlessness is that even after the political change, the expected improvement in the life of common citizens is not coming. Mentioning the need to remove dissatisfaction and restlessness, he clarified that this is the main responsibility of the government formed by Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. He also expressed the belief that the government will move forward by solving the problems and crises seen in the economy.

He said, 'What the Nepali Congress has realized is that, despite the political achievements, there is restlessness and dissatisfaction among the common citizens today. The main reason for this is that the expected improvement in people's lives has not come after the political situation we have created. Dissatisfaction increased when the changes expected by the citizens did not come on time. However, we think that dissatisfaction should not be traded. Dissatisfaction should not be taken as a stimulus, but should be addressed and moved forward. It is our commitment to work with this mindset.

General Minister Thapa made it clear that the government will proceed according to the cooperation of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML and there will be no political instability anywhere in the union or province. He said that one should work in a result-oriented manner and not just to stay in the government.

Thapa mentioned that Parliament had passed some laws some time ago and said that it was only an initial achievement. He said, "It brings a positive atmosphere, but not enough." We should use the present time to remove the dissatisfaction of the citizens.'
