The meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Medical Education Commission Chairman KP Sharma Oli has decided to proceed with the process of increasing the seats and fees of MBBS, BDS.

From the date of the decision, the Prime Minister's Secretariat has informed that it has been decided to request the return of resident doctor's movement and to start the process of reviewing the number of seats and fees for private medical colleges. It has also been decided that increased subsistence allowance should be given to the resident doctors from the date of decision and the resident doctors should return the protest and return to their work and studies .
