Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that since the Maoists do not have guns in their hands, they have to fight against the bourgeoisie through propaganda.
Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, President Dahal said that they have to fight the bourgeoisie through propaganda as they do not have guns. He has said that there is no situation to go ahead with a gun now. He said that it is necessary to fight against foreign reactionism, all status quo and regressive conspiracies within the country through the propaganda mechanism. He therefore mentioned that his party has given high priority to the information and propaganda sector.
President Dahal said, "Now we don't have a gun." It is not a situation to go ahead with a gun. So now we have to fight the bourgeoisie through the propaganda mechanism. Foreign reactionism should be fought through propaganda mechanism. We must fight against all status quo and regressive conspiracies within the country. Therefore, this sector has been given high priority by the party. I feel that you have understood this priority of the party correctly.
