Prime Minister and leader of the UML parliamentary party KP Sharma Oli has commented that those who are talking about the change of government have been caught in the dark. Oli made this comment while addressing the UML parliamentary party meeting held in Baneshwar on Saturday.
Targeting the Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, he remarked that the rumor that the government will fall after the return of Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba was fabricated, but now he has to sit with his hands on the red carpet.
Prime Minister Oli mentioned that there is no need to fan the rumors of a change of government and asked not to get involved in rumours. He directed the party leaders and workers to prepare for the election under Mission 084. Oli's comment was that when Speaker Deuba said at the airport that the government will not fall, those spreading rumors were sighing and sitting with their hands in purple.
Oli said, 'There is no need to say much about the current situation. Until yesterday, he tried to light the fire. There were rumors that the government would collapse when Sher Bahadur Deubaji came back. Rumors were spread in the style of whether it will collapse from the airport, whether it will collapse upon arrival, or whether it will collapse upon landing. It was rumored that it fell, fell, fell. But nothing happened after Sher Bahadurji arrived. I've already told my friends—don't chase illusions, get to work, get to Mission 084.'
He added, 'After saying that the government will not collapse, the matter is over. We are saying - the government will not collapse. Again, why keep jumping behind the noise cages? So get ready for the election. Start doing what you need from now on. There is no need to debate whether the government will fall or remain. We will take care of it. You go about your business.'
Oli complained that his statement was misinterpreted and said, 'It was explained that the Prime Minister killed Aas. It seems that they did not understand what I said. There is no need to say much about these things. After Sher Bahadurji replied that the government will not fall, the people who were making noise were stunned. He put his hands on the purple.'
Prime Minister Oli also said that the geography of Nepal has always helped to keep the country independent.
