Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in Lumbini to inaugurate the International Cultural Festival starting from Saturday at the birthplace of Buddha. Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chetnarayan Acharya welcomed Prime Minister Oli, who arrived by helicopter on Saturday morning, at the helipad.

The fourth festival has been organized in Lumbini to expand cultural relations between Nepal and China. This festival is being held for the first time in Lumbini. Earlier it was held in other Asian countries. As part of the festival, Lumbini Buddhist University is also going to organize an international level seminar on Saturday. The

festival is coordinated by the local Sariputra Foundation. The festival has been organized with the aim of promoting art and culture between Nepal and China. China's World Alliance for Buddhist Cultural Exchange Limited and Weizhou Peace Calligraphy and Painting Academy have collaborated.

Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Lumbini Development Fund have also collaborated. Representatives of 40 countries are participating in the festival.
