Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused the current government of being a government of middlemen set up against good governance.
Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, President Dahal accused the current government of being irresponsible and against good governance. He said that people with even a little political conscience and knowledge have accepted the current government as a government of middlemen. He alleged that the current government is working to benefit the broker capitalists, middlemen and servant shahs, protect the corrupt and persecute those who do good work.
Dahal said, 'The government that is running now is a government of middlemen that is set up against good governance. Now everyone with even a little bit of political conscience and knowledge has accepted it. It has been well established that this government is a government that favors the broker capitalists, middlemen and servant shahs, protects the corrupt, and persecutes those who do good work. There is a very strange situation in the country now. On the one hand, millions of teachers are protesting on the streets, it has been almost a month. But the government and the leadership of the government, which is supposed to resolve the demands of the teachers responsibly, are making the teachers and the education sector more chaotic and humiliating the teachers in a very irresponsible manner.' He mentioned that the CPN (Maoist Center) is in favor of fulfilling the demands and passing the law by a short way according to the agreement reached with the teachers.
