To address the demands of the agitating teachers, Education Minister Raghuji Pant is in talks with the president of the Teachers Federation and other officials on Saturday morning.

At the Ministry of Education, Education Secretary Deepak Kafle, Nepal Teachers Federation President Laxmikishore Subedi, Teachers Federation Co-President and Movement Coordinator Nanumaya Parajuli and General Secretary Tula Bahadur Thapa are busy in discussions with the Education Minister.

The Secretariat of the Education Minister has informed that discussions are ongoing to address the teachers' movement and their demands.

On Friday, the federation did not participate in the meeting called by the education minister citing technical reasons. The Ministry of Education issued another statement calling on the president of the teachers' federation and other officials to attend the talks on Saturday morning. The government had repeatedly called upon the teachers for talks.

On the other hand, the federation has said that it will continue the teacher's movement that has been going on since March 20th.
