A three-day 'International Snow Leopard Conservation Workshop' has started in Kathmandu under the auspices of the National Nature Conservation Fund. Scientists from 12 countries will exchange information about the work they are doing in snow leopard conservation in the workshop starting today.

In this workshop organized by Nepal, cheetah conservation organizations, scientists and experts from China, India, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan are participating .  On the first day of the

workshop, there will be an interaction about the technology used in snow leopard conservation and the technology research. On the second day, there will be a comprehensive discussion on the participation of communities and stakeholders in snow leopard conservation, and on the last day, there will be a comprehensive discussion on snow conservation policy and the effect of cooperation for conservation.
