Nepal condemns Pahalgam attack

Nepal has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli called his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi and strongly condemned the terrorist attack.

There was a phone conversation between Oli and Modi on Wednesday afternoon. Prime Minister Oli has informed about it through the social network "X". In his conversation with Modi, he also expressed his deepest condolences for the loss of life in the terrorist attack. He has mentioned that Nepal stands with India against such heinous acts in the talks with Modi. 

"I spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modiji and expressed my condolences for the loss of life in the terrorist attack. Nepal has unwavering solidarity with India against such a heinous act," Oli wrote in X.

The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said that Oli called Modi and strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Expressing his condolence over the death of a Nepali youth in a terrorist attack, Modi said that the perpetrators of the brutal terrorist attack will be brought to justice. 

Similarly, Foreign Minister Arju Deuba has also condemned the Pahalgam incident as cruel and inhumane. She said that Nepal is with the Government of India and the people of India at this time of sorrow. "The government of Nepal condemns and condemns the incident," he wrote in X. "For more information about the incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in contact with the Indian side."

President Ramchandra Paudel as well as various parties have opposed the terrorist attack in India. The Indian government has helped to bring the body of Sudeep Neupane, who died in a terrorist attack, to Nepal. Shankar Prasad Sharma, the Nepali ambassador in Delhi, said that the necessary coordination is being done for that.

Neupane's body is being brought from Srinagar to Delhi and from Delhi to Lucknow on Wednesday evening. According to Ambassador Sharma, the body will be taken to Bhairahawa in an ambulance from Lucknow on Wednesday night. Sudeep's mother Rima Pandey Neupane and three other Yuvraj Kafle, Sushma Neupane and Hariprasad Sapkota were also rescued and brought to Nepal, said the embassy in Delhi.
