Deputy General Secretary of the Maoist Center and former Finance Minister Barshman Pun has indicated that there may be a situation where the Maoists will have to go to the government in 2084.
While addressing the fifth district conference of YCL Nepal held on Thursday in Chautara, Sindhupalchok, he recalled that the Maoist center would not go to the government until the 2084 elections and said that they can go to the government to save the system.
It is said that we will not go to the government until 1984, but if the Oli government fails to save the system, we may have to go to the government. At that time, we should not wait for 84, even if we go to the government, we have to do the work of the people, create a pro-people Maoist front and prepare for the 84 elections," he said.
Pun said that the current government led by KP Oli, which has failed in all aspects, is now only left to collapse. He also claimed that it was confirmed that the Oli government was made by middlemen. He said, 'It has been confirmed that the government led by UML president KP Oli was formed by middlemen. The middlemen are now making deals worth billions to take over the National Bank, this is the reason why they have not become governor yet.'
He said that communist polarization will not be possible as long as KP Oli's trend continues. However, he insisted on cooperating with good communist leaders and other communist components within the UML.
