In order to change the topic of irregularities and corruption at Pokhara International Airport, the member of parliament of the United Socialist Party and former Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, who has been spreading misinformation against him, has given a clarification.
A member of the Pokhara International Airport Study and Investigation Sub-Committee formed by the Public Accounts Committee has issued a statement saying that there is misinformation being spread against him.
He has also given a challenge to make public if there is evidence of any wrongdoing or violation of the law while in office. He alleges that some people are against him because he was in the sub-committee of the Audit Committee formed to publicize the corruption of Pokhara Airport.
'You are aware that I myself am a member of the committee formed under the coordination of Rajendra Lingden regarding the corruption of more than 15 billion during the construction of Pokhara Regional International Airport . That is why corrupt people have been using my name recently to divert attention from the Pokhara airport scandal,' said Elle, 'I want to say again, those who are doing media propaganda have proof that I have made a mistake. I want to make a challenge to make it public.'
He has written in a statement stating that he is ready to take any action if he has done anything wrong, 'Any fish, big or small, who committed corruption of more than 15 billion during the construction of Pokhara Regional International Airport. Will not be left .'
Recently, a complaint has been filed with the Public Accounts Committee and the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority in connection with MP Ale regarding the upgrading of Dhangadhi Airport.
The sub-committee of the Accounts Committee led by Lingden has determined that there has been corruption since the beginning of the construction of Pokhara International Airport. The sub-committee has prepared a report stating that there is corruption by negotiating against the Public Procurement Act, cost increase of 6 billion 56 million, return of 2 billion 22 million for tax exemption, additional payment of 32 million in Chinedanda cutting.
It has been said that the suspension and action should be recommended to the staff including Director General of Civil Aviation Authority Pradeep Adhikari in that case. The sub-committee has recommended that the decision-making officials involved in the policy, procedure and implementation of the airport from the feasibility study to the completion of construction should be promptly investigated.
