Meeting between Prime Minister Oli and Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Brazilian legend football player Roberto Carlos have met. On Wednesday, football player Roberto Carlos met with Prime Minister Oli at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Darbar.

 

In the meeting between Brazilian legend Carlos, who came to Nepal on Tuesday to watch the Nepal Super League, and Prime Minister Oli, there was an important discussion about the upgradation of the sports sector in Nepal. On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli welcomed the player Carlos and said that his arrival in Nepal will bring enthusiasm to the players and youth here.

Prime Minister Oli mentioned that there is a good diplomatic relationship between Nepal and Brazil and emphasized that the sports fields of both countries should exchange learning with each other.

Prime Minister Oli asked player Carlos to visit Nepal again with the plan of 'mountain flight' and jungle safari.

Expressing his gratitude for being welcomed, player Carlos said he was happy to meet the Prime Minister of Nepal, youth and players.

52-year-old Carlos played for the Brazilian national team from 1992 to 2006.

Carlos was scheduled to come to Nepal on Friday but could not come then due to his health condition.

When Brazil won the 2002 World Cup, Carlos was a key player in the team.
