On the occasion of the 77th founding day of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and 156th Lenin birth anniversary, Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal expressed his views on the historical journey, current situation and future direction of the Communist movement of Nepal and said that the establishment of the party on the day of Lenin's birth anniversary is not only a historical coincidence but also a matter of inspiration.

According to President Dahal's private secretariat, he said, 'The Communist Party of Nepal, which was founded with inspiration from Lenin, is 77 years old today, which is a matter of pride for the entire communist movement.'

He discussed the history of the struggle of the Communist Party, mentioning that the Communist movement has reached its present state between division and sacrifice, and said, 'Today's need is to unite the Communists again. We want unity in ideas, principles and ideological basis of true communists. We are in the process of correcting our weaknesses by reaching out to the people.'
