With only 23 days left to organize the first edition of Sargamatha Samvad 2025, the Sargamatha Samvad Secretariat has informed that pledges of support are coming from development partners and organizations.
Various development partners and organizations have pledged support to the Nepal Government for the Everest Dialogue to be held in Kathmandu on May 2, 3 and 4.
in which the Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ISIMOD), Save the Children, UN Agency, Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Youth Alliance for Environment (YAE) as well as the Foundation have committed to the Nepal government to support the Everest Dialogue. According to the
secretariat, these development partners and organizations have committed to support the expenses incurred in dialogue planning, dialogue project management, management of foreign guests, production of publicity materials, volunteer mobilization and so on.
Similarly, Nepal Tourism Board has also informed that the Secretariat will support the expenses of the Everest flight for specially invited guests on the last day of dialogue. The government of Nepal has also requested development partners to assist and participate in the
dialogue project. Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba has already stated that Nepal will welcome this with an open heart.
On the eve of the Everest Dialogue, the Foundation and Save the Children have organized various events. At the same time, the Foundation has completed the Arohi Conference on May 9. Similarly, Save the Children has organized a 'Himali Samvad' program in Karnali province on Baisakh 9 and 10. According to the secretariat, preparations are also being made to organize Children and Youth (Air) Dialogue in Kathmandu on Baisakh 13.
